Gayathri Kumar joined SymIndia with over 7 years of training experience in the IT industry. She comes with a Technical background; she started and groomed her career as a Technical trainer, both outside and later in SymIndia.

She was only a specialized Technical Trainer before she was assigned complex projects to manage at SymIndia as a natural progression in her career .

Consequently she has managed complex projects at our end, as a formal Project Manager, that involved multiple locations, multiple faculty, multiple modules under very tight schedule and budget; project spanned across 6 months in some cases.

Given her practical strength in the Project Management domain and her excellent technical training skills, we consciously developed her into PM training.
Some of our clients for whom she has managed complex projects have expressed their delight in the way it was seamlessly managed end-to-end . This indeed gives a hands-on experience to deliver training programs on a very niche and high-end product like Project Management.

She currently conducts workshops on Software Project Management that deals in-depth in topics like WBS, Risk Management, Estimation Process, Estimation Techniques, Project Scheduling (at an overview level), Project Tracking and Reporting, Project Closure and Metrics Analysis; this program also deals with the soft skill competencies of the Project Manager like Decision Making, Leadership, Assertiveness, Customer Relationship Management and Project Change Management.

She has also conducted Key Modules on Project Management for “Metamorphosis - Project Lead / Module Lead Program. This is A Skill Enhancement Program for people who have just stepped into or will in the near future step into the role of Project Lead.

Gayathri also conducts Modules on Project Management Tools .

Her major strengths are: a passion for learning, fluent and eloquent communication, a dedication to single-mindedness to delve deeply into the concepts in any topic that she undertakes, and a great desire to share knowledge with the outside world.

In her free time, Gayathri enjoys spending time with underprivileged children and their families, helping them with their medical, nutritional and educational needs.

Gayathri also indulges in her love for Carnatic music, which she pursued actively for over six years.
